About the Real PAZ-4230 Aurora

The PAZ-4230 "Aurora" was a middle-class bus developed in the late 1990s at the Pavlovo Bus Factory and put into mass production from 2003 at the KavZ plant, remaining on the line until 2008 when the KavZ-4235 replaced it. Its rounded, beak-like front earned it the affectionate nickname "duck" among Russian enthusiasts. The Aurora was offered in commuter, intercity and city-bus configurations seating between 27 and 31 passengers, with total capacities of 52 to 56 — a versatile mid-size workhorse for regional routes across Russia and neighbouring countries.
