About the Real PAZ-3205
The PAZ-3205 was launched on 1 December 1989 by the Pavlovo Bus Factory to replace the long-running PAZ-672, and it became the definitive small-class Soviet and Russian midibus. Around 9.7 metres long, it is powered by ZMZ or Belarusian MMZ diesel or petrol engines of roughly 120–140 hp and tops out near 90 km/h. By the early 2000s output had stabilised at around 10,000 units a year, and the rugged, simple "Pazik" remains in production into the 2020s — a fixture on low-intensity routes across Russia and neighbouring countries.
