Produced from 2007 to 2018 at Solaris's Bolechowo plant near Poznań, the Alpino combines an 8.9-meter length with a narrower 2.4-meter body width — versus the standard Urbino's 2.55-meter European width — making it the narrowest Urbino variant ever produced. The platform was deployed by Alpine operators in Austria, Switzerland, Italy and parts of Germany on routes where standard 12-meter buses simply cannot maneuver through tunnels and historic passageways.
