Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 312D / 412D — The Original Sprinter

Before the rounded CDI vans came the boxy one: square grille, black bumper, mechanical diesel. This pack covers the pre-facelift first-generation Sprinter in four variants — the 312D and the heavier 412D, each in a standard and an SD body. Sixteen liveries ship with it, most of them Ukrainian route-taxi plates, along with a modelled cabin and a manual gearbox.

Compatibility and Technical Details

About the Real Sprinter T1N

The Sprinter arrived in 1995 to replace the ageing Mercedes-Benz TN, and the first generation — internally the T1N, spread across model codes W901 to W905 by weight class — ran until 2006 from Düsseldorf and Ludwigsfelde. Before the February 2000 facelift brought common-rail CDI engines, the range used direct-injection diesels badged with a D suffix: the 312D in the 3.5-tonne class and the 412D in the 4.6-tonne class. Rugged and simple, these vans became the backbone of private route-taxi operations across Eastern Europe.
