The Irizar New Century is the second-generation Century, the body that built Irizar's reputation in the Mexican intercity market. This Proton Bus Simulator mod brings it in 6x2 form on a MAN chassis, with six selectable liveries including Mexican long-distance operator schemes. It ships with a modelled interior, a manual gearbox, an electronic destination sign, a driver sunshade and four animations, running on both Android and PC.

About the Real Irizar New Century

The Century is the coach body that carried Irizar from a small Basque workshop to international scale, produced from around 1989 and refreshed as the New Century generation in the mid-2000s with teardrop headlamps and a modernised front. It became Irizar's best-selling coach, with more than 20,000 units delivered across its lifetime, and was bodied on Iveco, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Scania and Volvo chassis. Beyond Spain the Century family was built for local markets in Brazil and Mexico: Irizar México opened in the Bernardo Quintana industrial park in Querétaro in November 1999, starting production with a Century line aimed at the autobús foráneo long- and medium-distance segment, and grew to hold more than half of that market. The Century was eventually replaced at the core of the range by the Irizar i6.
