About the Real Caio Piccolo VW 9.150 OD

The Volkswagen Volksbus 9.150 OD is a light step-floor bus chassis from VW Truck & Bus, fitted with the MWM 4.10 turbo-diesel of around 145 hp and a five-speed manual gearbox. The OD (Euro II) version was built into the mid-2000s before being replaced by the EOD. Bodied by Caio Induscar as the compact Piccolo, the 9.150 OD was a common choice for urban feeder and short-distance routes across Brazil, prized for its low cost and easy maintenance.
