About the Real Bimet Corwin 2023

Carrocerías Bimet, also branded as Carrocerías Corwin-Bimet under its parent Centro Carrocero Corwin S.A., is an independent Argentine bus bodybuilder founded in 1991 and headquartered in Caseros, in the municipality of Tres de Febrero in Buenos Aires Province. From a 5,000-square-metre plant the company has produced successive generations of its Corwin urban and inter-urban body — the original 1991 series, the 2001 CORBUS low-floor Generation on Mercedes-Benz OH1115L-SB, then Corwin II from around 2015, Corwin III, and the current Corwin IV in production through the early 2020s — primarily on Mercedes-Benz OF and OH chassis. The Mercedes-Benz OH-1721 itself is an Argentine-market rear-engine urban chassis launched in 1999 and updated to Euro V emissions in 2016.
