About the Real Volvo 7900

The Volvo 7900 was unveiled at Busworld Kortrijk in 2011 as the successor to the Volvo 7700, and it became one of the defining low-floor city buses of the 2010s. While its chassis is engineered in Sweden, final assembly took place at Volvo Buses' plant in Wrocław, Poland, until production wound down in 2023. The 7900 was offered in diesel, hybrid, plug-in Electric Hybrid and fully battery-electric forms, as well as a 18-metre articulated version, and it served city networks right across Europe — a modern, efficient and accessible urban bus.
