The Volvo 7700 (Pre-Facelift) is the original generation of Volvo Buses's low-floor European city bus, assembled at the former Carrus plant in Finland after Volvo's 1998 acquisition. This Proton Bus Simulator mod brings the early-2000s Volvo 7700 into PBSU with Volvo B7L / B9L chassis behavior, D7C / D9B-class diesel audio cues, and a generous 49 included skins that let players run the bus across Stockholm, Helsinki, Warsaw, and dozens of operator liveries.

About the Real Volvo 7700

The Volvo 7700 was Volvo Buses's low-floor European city bus, launched in 2000 and produced through 2010 with a styling Facelift in 2006. The Pre-Facelift generation covered the early-2000s service years. Assembly began at the former Carrus plant in Finland — acquired by Volvo Buses in 1998 — and later expanded to Volvo Polska in Wrocław. The 7700 was offered as a 12-meter rigid and an 18-meter articulated, riding on Volvo's B7L and later B9L low-floor chassis with D7C and D9B inline-six diesels. The 7700 served operators across Nordic Europe, Poland, the Netherlands and Germany before the Volvo 7900 replaced it in 2011.
