This Proton Bus Simulator mod brings the Gen 1 O530G into PBSU with semi-realistic bending physics, 11 animations, three operator skins and the Euro 3 emission-era powertrain that operated the Citaro across European urban corridors through the 2000s.

The Mercedes-Benz Citaro O530G is the articulated long variant of the first-generation Citaro family, introduced shortly after the rigid O530 at Mercedes-Benz's Mannheim plant in 1997. The "G" designation marks the 18-meter articulated configuration, joining the 12-meter standard, the 15-meter Überland variant and the bi-articulated CapaCity in the broader Citaro lineup. The Gen 1 O530G received a mid-cycle Facelift starting in 2005 and was succeeded in 2011 by the second-generation Citaro C2 G. The articulated Citaro is operated extensively across European urban corridors and has also been deployed in Latin American BRT systems, making it one of the most internationally recognized articulated city buses in current service.
