The Mercedes-Benz Citaro O530 is the standard 12-metre, low-floor first-generation Citaro city bus, produced by EvoBus from 1997 to 2011 at the Mannheim plant in Germany, with additional production in Aksaray, Turkey and Słupsk, Poland. The first-generation Citaro became the most-produced city bus in Europe of its era, with more than 50,000 units built across the O530 family before the second-generation Citaro C2 took over in 2011.
