About the Real LAZ A183 CityLAZ

The Lviv Bus Factory (LAZ, Ukrainian: ЛАЗ) was one of the Soviet Union's most important bus manufacturers, headquartered in Lviv in western Ukraine and producing vehicles from the late 1940s onward. The A183 CityLAZ represented the company's modernization push for Ukraine's hosting of the UEFA Euro 2012 football tournament, designed as a fully low-floor European-styled urban bus that could compete with Western European manufacturers on the post-Soviet market. The A183 was deployed across Kyiv and other major Ukrainian cities and featured powertrain options including Deutz engines for the export-grade configuration.
