The Carrus City L articulated on Volvo B10MA chassis represented the high-capacity tier of the Finnish coachbuilder Carrus's urban-bus body family, built at the Lieto plant in Finland (and later Polish assembly under Volvo Buses) for Northern and Eastern European transit operators where harsh winters and high passenger volumes demanded a durable, well-engineered platform.
