The LiAZ-5292.22 brings Russia's first home-built low-floor city bus to Proton Bus Simulator. This is the MAN-powered modification of the LiAZ-5292 family, the large-class workhorse that fills Moscow's bus lanes. The mod ships with a fully modelled interior, an electronic destination sign, three passenger doors and 32 operator skins, capturing the everyday character of a Russian municipal bus in faithful detail.

About the Real LiAZ-5292.22

The LiAZ-5292 was Russia's first domestically produced low-floor city bus, built by the Likinsky Bus Plant (LiAZ) in Likino-Dulyovo and in serial production since 2004. The .22 modification, produced from 2011 to 2017, paired the large-class body with a German MAN D0836 Euro-5 diesel engine and a redesigned driver's cabin. As a high-capacity single-decker it became a fixture of Moscow's municipal fleet and other Russian cities. The 5292 family remains one of the most recognisable buses on Russian and CIS streets today, with later modifications switching to YaMZ and gas engines.
