About the Real KamAZ-6292

The KamAZ-6292 is Russia's first series-production articulated electric bus, developed jointly by KAMAZ and its subsidiary NefAZ. Unveiled in 2020 and named best large-class bus at COMTRANS-2021, the 6292 is built on the platform of the rigid KamAZ-6282 electrobus and stretches to 18.72 meters with a three-axle articulated layout. It carries up to 135 passengers (48 seated) and is powered by two asynchronous electric motors integrated into a ZF electroportal rear axle, with full-electric cabin heating and fast-charging support. Serial production began in 2024 for major Russian urban transit fleets.
