About the Real Ikarus 263

Ikarus is a Hungarian bus manufacturer founded in 1916 in Budapest and historically one of the largest bus producers in the Eastern Bloc, with annual production peaks exceeding 14,000 vehicles during the Soviet era. The Ikarus 263 is the slightly longer modernized successor to the legendary Ikarus 260, the classic 11-meter Soviet-era city bus that defined Hungarian and Eastern European urban transit for decades.
