About the Real Caio Millennium V on Scania K320C
Caio Induscar, based in Botucatu (São Paulo), launched the Millennium V in mid-2022 as the fifth generation of its urban Millennium body line, designed to serve large Brazilian metropolitan centers, bus lanes, and BRT platforms in low-floor, high-floor, and articulated configurations. The Scania K-series is the Swedish builder's urban and intercity chassis line first shown at Busworld Kortrijk 2005 and produced from 2006 onwards; the K320 designation indicates approximately 320 horsepower from a horizontally mid-mounted inline-six diesel, with the C suffix denoting articulated urban configuration. Curitiba's Rede Integrada de Transporte runs articulated buses on dedicated boarding-tube corridors that pioneered modern BRT operations worldwide.
