About the Real Yutong ZK5120C

The Yutong ZK5120C is a 12-metre battery-trolleybus supplied to Mexico City's Servicio de Transportes Eléctricos (STE). Ordered from 2019 and delivered in batches that grew to more than 60 units, it carries roughly 84–90 passengers and pairs overhead-wire operation with lithium iron phosphate batteries, giving it around 70 km of catenary-free range so it can leave the wires where needed. Its low-floor layout and top speed near 70 km/h suit the dense trolleybus corridors of the Mexican capital.
