The Todobus Retiro on the Agrale MT-17.0 LE chassis is the original 2021 Argentine low-entry city bus combination that debuted in Buenos Aires service. This Proton Bus Simulator mod recreates the Retiro Mk1 bodywork — Todobus's flagship low-entry design — over Agrale's rear-engine 17-tonne midibus chassis with a Cummins ISBe 6.7 turbodiesel under the floor, four passenger doors, an automatic gearbox, an electronic destination sign and a full multiplex driver cabin.

About the Real Todobus Retiro Agrale MT-17.0 LE

The Todobus Retiro Mk1 on the Agrale MT-17.0 LE chassis is an Argentine urban bus combination that entered Buenos Aires city service in 2021. The Retiro is Todobus's flagship low-entry city bodywork — it succeeded the Pompeya and San Telmo families that the Lomas de Zamora coachbuilder had produced for fourteen years — and the first unit on the MT-17.0 LE platform was delivered to Tandilense for line 152 during the 2021 summer season. Underneath sits Agrale's seventeen-tonne midibus chassis, assembled in Mercedes, Buenos Aires province, with a rear-mounted Cummins ISBe 6.7 turbodiesel rated at 226 hp under Euro V emission standards and a fully automatic transmission. The MT-17.0 LE accepts bodies up to roughly twelve metres and was specified for the mixed-density routes of greater Buenos Aires; further operators that adopted the Mk1 in 2021 and 2022 included DOTA-linked city lines 6, 10, 78, 117 and 126. The Mk1 spec captured by this mod predates the September 2022 introduction of Agrale's MT-17.0 Plus chassis, which carries the same Retiro bodywork in its current production form.
