The Modasa Zeus 5 is the fifth generation of Modasa's flagship double-decker road coach, unveiled by Motores Diesel Andinos S.A. at Busworld Latin America 2023 in Lima, Peru. Standing 4.1 meters tall and offered in 14- to 15-meter lengths, the Zeus 5 is mounted on Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, Scania, and MAN chassis depending on each market's emissions regulations. The Scania K450 6x2 variant is the launch configuration favored by Peruvian and Chilean intercity operators. Modasa reported more than 85 advance orders from Chile, Mexico, and Peru before the public reveal, with Colombia following shortly after as the company's newest regional market.
