Drive the Phase 4 recreation of Curitiba, the Brazilian city that invented the Bus Rapid Transit concept in 1974. The Demo build by VS3D Studio recreates two real BRT corridors — lines 302 and 306 — across 44 bus stops, with pedestrian and suburban train ambient AI and a working depot at the Garagem endpoint.

About the Real Curitiba

Curitiba is the capital of Paraná state in southern Brazil and the recognized birthplace of the Bus Rapid Transit model. In 1971 Jaime Lerner, the architect who had helped found the Instituto de Pesquisa e Planejamento Urbano de Curitiba in 1965, became mayor and inaugurated the first 20 kilometres of dedicated busway in 1974. The Trinary Road System places exclusive bus lanes on a central avenue flanked by two one-way streets, a design that today carries more than 2.4 million daily passengers across the Rede Integrada de Transporte. The system has been copied in over 300 cities worldwide, from Bogotá's TransMilenio to Jakarta's TransJakarta. Lines 302 and 306, recreated in this Demo build, run through the Centenário corridor that connects the eastern neighbourhoods to the city centre.
